Three Trim Levels and Pricing
The new-generation AITO M9 is offered in three primary tiers. The Max+ starts at CNY 479,800, the Ultra at CNY 539,800, and the flagship Ultimate Extended Edition at CNY 649,800 for the five-seat layout and CNY 659,800 for the six-seat configuration. Deliveries begin in June 2026, with early-bird incentives for orders placed before June 30. The Ultimate Extended Edition stretches to 5,402 mm in length with a 3,236 mm wheelbase – 117 mm longer than the standard version’s 3,125 mm. Cabin space extends to 3,785 mm of effective length with 3.2 square meters of flat-floor area. The five-seat version offers 1,063 liters of trunk space, while the pure-electric variant adds a 217-liter frunk.
Huawei ADS 5 and Six-LiDAR Array
The new M9 debuts Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5 (乾崑智驾 ADS 5) autonomous driving system paired with a 40-sensor suite. The LiDAR array consists of two forward-facing redundant units and four solid-state units providing all-direction coverage – six LiDARs in total. The accompanying CAS 5.0 collision avoidance system provides full-around protection at all speeds. The vehicle rides on Huawei’s Tuling Longxing chassis platform with a full aluminum subframe, double-wishbone front suspension, five-link rear, dual-cavity air suspension, 800V active suspension, and standard ±8-degree rear-wheel steering with a minimum turning radius of 5.1 meters. A “crab mode” enables lateral movement, and burst-tire stability control activates within 50 milliseconds.
Powertrain and Luxury Cabin
All variants use Huawei’s new 800V dual silicon-carbide powertrain platform with CATL ternary lithium batteries (branded as “Whale Battery”). The pure-electric version achieves up to 750 km CLTC range, while the EREV variant reaches 1,405 km combined and 422 km on battery alone. The tri-motor version accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.99 seconds. The cabin features a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, 17.2-inch dual-screen display, and a 32-inch laser projection system with 98% DCI-P3 color gamut. Audio comes from HUAWEI SOUND with 39 or 43 speakers depending on trim. The Ultimate’s second-row seats rotate 180 degrees for face-to-face configuration, and an 18-point full-body massage system is standard across the lineup. Cumulative M9 series deliveries have surpassed 285,000 units, with Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance total deliveries exceeding 1.39 million.
