BYD’s Qatar SUV range presents different family choices, rather than one interchangeable set of models. The Ti7 is a five-seat plug-in hybrid. Denza’s B8 has separate six- and seven-seat versions. Current local brochures show a substantial price step between them, with the B8 putting more emphasis on a third row and second-row comfort.
For readers comparing these SUVs with a large petrol family vehicle, seat layout and the exact Qatar specification are more useful starting points than claims that one brand is already replacing another. The local product material verifies what is advertised; it does not establish how many Land Cruiser or Lexus owners have switched.
Checked November 4, 2026. The figures below come from Qatar-market manufacturer/distributor pages and the 2027 model brochures linked in each section. Published prices are not confirmation of stock or an all-in transaction quote.
Ti7 and Denza B8: Qatar prices and seat layouts
BYD Qatar’s Ti7 product page and specification sheet list Deluxe and Flagship trims. Denza Qatar publishes a separate brochure for each B8 seating configuration. The names and model years on those documents matter: specifications from another export market or an older brochure should not be substituted.
On a small screen, swipe the table horizontally to see all columns.
| Model and trim | Seats | Published price | Local source |
|---|---|---|---|
| BYD Ti7 Deluxe | 5; 2+3 | QAR 139,900 | Ti7 specification sheet |
| BYD Ti7 Flagship | 5; 2+3 | QAR 154,900 | Ti7 specification sheet |
| Denza B8 Deluxe | 7; 2+3+2 | QAR 245,000 | B8 seven-seat brochure |
| Denza B8 Flagship | 6; 2+2+2 | QAR 254,500 | B8 six-seat brochure |
The B8 Flagship provides fewer seats than the Deluxe because its middle row uses two individual seats. A six-seat version therefore serves a different purpose from a seven-seater; the higher price does not mean it carries more people. Families should try the route into the third row with their usual child seats and passengers.
The Ti7 starts with a five-seat cabin
The Qatar Ti7 sheet lists a 15.6-inch central display, smartphone integration through CarPlay and Android Auto, and ventilated front seats. The trim table distinguishes upholstery and additional comfort equipment, so an image of a high-spec cabin should not be treated as proof that every item comes with the Deluxe.

For a test drive, pair your own phone, set a navigation route and adjust the climate controls while parked. Then sit in the rear with the front seat in its normal driving position. Those checks establish whether the interface and space work for your household without assuming a larger exterior guarantees a better cabin.
Denza B8 adds a third row and a different comfort focus
The current B8 brochures list a 17.3-inch central display. The six-seat Flagship document specifies Nappa leather, individual second-row seats with massage, and powered leg rests. The seven-seat Deluxe document uses a three-seat middle row and lists premium leather. These are meaningful layout differences for families, beyond the model badge.

Try the seat adjustments with the third row occupied, rather than judging comfort from a fully reclined showroom position. Check the remaining luggage space, access to rear controls and the ease of reaching the last row. We have not measured these vehicles side by side, so the brochure alone does not establish which rides more comfortably or cools its cabin faster.
Read the range and ownership terms by model
BYD Qatar’s Ti7 ownership guide describes a plug-in hybrid with a 26.6 kWh battery, 360 kW system output, and advertised electric range up to 105 km. The B8 brochures quote 85 km WLTC electric range. The differently presented test figures are not a controlled comparison of everyday range in Qatar.
Ask for a drive that resembles your commute, with the air conditioning operating as you normally use it. The practical ownership question is how much of that journey can be completed electrically and how conveniently you can recharge, rather than which brochure has the larger headline number.
The Ti7 guide states an eight-year/200,000 km battery warranty and six-year/150,000 km coverage for other components, whichever limit comes first. The B8 brochures state eight years with unlimited mileage for the battery and six years/150,000 km for the car. The signed warranty booklet should confirm exclusions, servicing requirements and any conditions applicable to the exact vehicle.
Both sets of specification material list a QAR 3,000 charger price excluding installation. Obtain a separate installed quotation, including the necessary electrical work, before treating that figure as the full cost of home charging.
Buying checks matter more than an unverified market ranking
BYD Qatar also has a separate ATTO 8 listing. It should not be used as an alternate name for a Denza B8 quotation: compare the stated model, trim, seat count and specification document rather than assuming equipment carries across the group.
The official local catalogues establish that these vehicles are marketed in Qatar. They do not substantiate claims about the percentage of buyers who are Qatari nationals, cash-payment rates, months-long waiting lists or market leadership over Toyota. Those claims require current, traceable registration data or clearly documented reporting beyond a product catalogue.
Before ordering, obtain the model year, trim, seating layout, stock or delivery status, total payable price, charger installation terms and warranty in writing. For the wider export and local-production context, see BYD’s global expansion guide; the October sales report explains why group exports should not be mistaken for Qatar registrations.
Frequently asked questions
What are the published BYD Ti7 prices in Qatar?
BYD Qatar lists the 2027 Ti7 Deluxe at QAR 139,900 and Flagship at QAR 154,900. These are published model prices checked on November 4, 2026; a dated dealer quotation should confirm stock, fees and included equipment.
What do the Denza B8 trims cost in Qatar?
The current Qatar 2027 brochures list the B8 Deluxe seven-seater at QAR 245,000 and Flagship six-seater at QAR 254,500. The seating layouts are 2+3+2 and 2+2+2 respectively.
Is the Ti7 a seven-seat SUV?
The Qatar Ti7 specification sheet lists five seats in a 2+3 layout. Buyers needing a third row should compare the separately listed Denza B8 or BYD ATTO 8 rather than assume all large BYD-group SUVs have seven seats.
How do the Ti7 and B8 cabins differ?
The Ti7 specification sheet lists a 15.6-inch central display. The B8 brochures list a 17.3-inch central display; its Flagship six-seater also lists individual second-row seats with massage and powered leg rests. Equipment must be checked against the exact trim.
Can the advertised electric ranges be compared directly?
The Ti7 brochure lists 105 km of electric range, while the B8 brochures specify 85 km WLTC. These are advertised test figures, not a matched real-world comparison in Qatar. Temperature, speed and charging habits affect the distance available in use.
Does the published price include home-charger installation?
Do not assume so. The Qatar brochures list a QAR 3,000 charger price excluding installation. Ask for a separate installed quotation, electrical requirements and the warranty terms for the exact vehicle before ordering.
