Editorial Policy

Mission

BYDToday publishes English-language reporting and analysis on China’s new energy vehicle industry, including automakers, battery suppliers, charging infrastructure, software-defined vehicles, autonomous-driving regulation, export markets, and industrial policy.

Reporting Standards

  • We prioritize primary and near-primary sources: company announcements, regulatory filings, official ministry releases, exchange disclosures, earnings calls, vehicle filings, industry association data, and reputable Chinese-language trade media.
  • Material figures such as delivery volume, export volume, price, range, battery capacity, charging rate, and regulatory approval status should be checked against at least one authoritative source before publication.
  • Analysis pieces should distinguish confirmed facts from interpretation, market implications, and forward-looking judgment.
  • When a story relies on Chinese-language material, BYDToday aims to preserve the original meaning while adding context for English-speaking readers.

Corrections

When a factual error is confirmed, BYDToday updates the article and, for material corrections, adds a dated note explaining what changed. Readers can report issues through the contact page or by email.

Editorial Independence

BYDToday does not accept payment for favorable coverage. Sponsored, partner, or contributed material should be clearly labeled when published.
