BYD confirmed its 10,000th station in Shenzhen Longhua, with the network covering 332 cities. These are official network figures at the milestone date.
Read BYD’s official announcement ↗Map coverage below: 9,151 Chinese records, combining the older 8 July archive with individually sourced additions reviewed 27 October 2026. This is not a verified directory of every site in the 10,000-station milestone; opening-date coverage remains incomplete.

New locations and earlier historical observations
Each new point has an individual provider identifier, street address and coordinate reference. 365 ambiguous or conflicting records remain outside the additions. New points enter the replay on their observation date. Opening dates are unknown unless separately confirmed.
The national directory is still incomplete. Historical records do not prove current operation; public POI listings do not report live charger availability.

Beyond China · overseas milestones
Plans, demonstrations and operational locations carry different labels. Only an individually verified site with coordinates gets a station pin.
Overseas site evidence register
Six named locations or event installations. A known address does not by itself establish public Flash Charging operation; missing coordinates are never replaced with a city-centre pin.

Questions about this historical map
Does “first observed” mean a station opened that day?
No. It records when a data source first captured the station. A station may have opened earlier. Confirmed opening dates appear separately when available; unknown dates remain unknown.
Does the map contain every BYD Flash Charging station worldwide?
No. The imported Chinese archive and individually verified overseas records have different coverage and dates. The map does not establish a complete global inventory or current live availability. Further verified records will be added as evidence becomes available.
Will every vehicle receive the charger’s advertised peak power?
No. Actual power depends on the vehicle, battery state, temperature and charger.
Coverage & method
| Dataset | Date & evidence | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| China · Flash Charge Viz | 4,674 records · 2026-07-08 snapshot | Source declares incomplete coverage; first observation is not opening; 149 entries lack a first-seen date. |
| China · Baidu Maps POI review | 27 October 2026 · 4,477 newly mapped records; 3,218 existing records matched | Public place listings, not a live charging feed. Observation dates are not opening dates. Ambiguous aliases and coordinate conflicts are held for review. |
| China · archived tracker | 10–13 March 2026 · 2,513 earlier observation dates recovered | Matched by station ID and coordinate consistency. Earlier observation does not establish opening date. |
| Overseas research | Reviewed 2026-10-27 · operator / official releases | Country totals do not establish individual addresses. Full global station roster and closure history remain unknown. |
How to read this map
The map shows locations that were documented by the selected month. For 149 undated Chinese records, 8 July 2026 is a conservative observed-by cutoff, not their opening date. Chinese coordinate systems are retained as supplied; known Amap GCJ-02 coordinates are converted for the WGS84 base map, while unspecified coordinates carry a warning. Snapshot online/offline labels never imply current availability. Additional POIs observed on 27 October appear in that month, even when their opening date is unknown. A provider marking a listing temporarily closed is an observation on the review date, not proof of a specific closure day. Additional stations and historical dates will be incorporated as they are verified. Station names and street addresses retain their source language to help readers match them to local signage and operator records; editorial text and map controls are in English.
